Lyrics
See them sitting there and praying in the congregation hall
Lifting up their hearts to Jesus and the Father of us all.
Surely there is Spirit present in a way they understand,
And the Oneness feeds their hunger in the image of a Man.
In the casting of the circle under moon as white as bone,
And the calling of the Goddess, Maiden, Mother, and the Crone,
Surely there is Spirit present in the forms of their delight,
And the Oneness as a woman dances in their midst tonight.
They are calling from the minaret, a call to righteousness,
And they're searching for Nivana, and the bliss of nothingness.
Surely there is Spirit present in each ritual begun,
For the Oneness comes as many that the many might be one.
Alleluia. Sri Ram, Jai Ram.
La illah ha il Allah, Om mene pemme hoong,
Hashem basimcha, Amen.
So I praise the One as woman, and I praise the One as man.
And I praise the One as nothingness, as spirit and as land,
And I praise the One in every form and forms that will arise,
And I praise the One who binds us, shining brightly from your eyes.
